Hello, I’m Ami.
I’m a multidisciplinary graphic designer with a deep love for illustration, layout, and visual storytelling. With over 15 years of experience in the outdoor, action sports, and direct-to-consumer space, I’ve helped brands like Adidas Snowboarding, Salomon Snowboards, Crab Grab, and many others translate their identity and values into design that connects.
My work ranges from hand-drawn illustrations, pattern prints, and lettering to full advertising campaigns, catalogs, and Shopify sites—always with a focus on thoughtful layout, personality, and emotional impact.
Originally from Helsinki, Finland and now based in Ventura, CA, I spent many formative years traveling the world and exploring mountains as a professional snowboarder. I’m inspired by art, board sports, the mountains, the ocean, and wildlife—and I believe that art and design are powerful vehicles for building community, creating connection, and inspiring positive change.
